Synopsis
Silent Sky by Lauren Gunderson is a poignant and inspiring play based on the true story of Henrietta Leavitt, an astronomer who worked at the Harvard Observatory in the early 1900s. As she joins a team of women "computers" tasked with cataloging stars, Henrietta's groundbreaking discovery of the Cepheid variable stars revolutionizes our understanding of the universe. Balancing her passion for science with personal relationships and societal constraints, the play explores themes of ambition, gender inequality, and the wonder of the cosmos.

Synopsis
Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol is a timeless holiday tale of redemption. It follows the journey of Ebenezer Scrooge, a bitter and miserly old man who despises Christmas. On Christmas Eve, he is visited by the ghost of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, and the Spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come. Through these supernatural encounters, Scrooge confronts the consequences of his greed and cold-heartedness. Transformed by what he sees, he awakens on Christmas morning with a renewed spirit, embracing generosity, compassion, and the true meaning of Christmas.

How do I Prepare for an Audition?
Every audition is different, saying that, for a musical, it is normal to prepare 16 bars of song. For a play, preparing a 30-second -
a one-minute monologue is normal.
